Q: What is Shop Darling?
A: In February 2019, Style Blogger Jessi Afshin created Shop Darling, a small family-run business that provides you, sister, with encouraging and *trending* cozies that are prayerfully designed and created to stir Christ-centered conversation. Moreover, a portion of every sale helps support young survivors of trafficking, violence and addiction who are in the process of restoring and rebuilding their lives and hearts at The Refuge Ranch in Austin, Texas.
Q: I just completed an order. How long until it ships?
A: We are a small team, but we try to ship orders out within 2-3 business days.
Q: I ordered another item with a pre-order item; when will I get that?
A: Any items ordered w/ a pre-order item will ship when all items are ready. If you’d like an in-stock item immediately, please make two separate orders.
Q: How is shipping calculated?
A: By weight of item and destination.
Q: I got an email saying my order shipped, but there’s no tracking info yet?
A: Please allow 24 hours for tracking info to update.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Currently, we only ship to Canada due to COVID-19 restrictions. We charge a flat rate of $20 for international orders. We are not responsible for international packages that may be delayed or lost in transit.
Q: Do you pay for customs fees/duties on international orders?
A: Orders to certain regions may include customs fees/duties. These are costs that are associated with buying a product that's shipped from another country-- your country may charge duties on the shipment. Shop Darling is not responsible for paying these customs fees; your USPS/UPS tracking info will let you know if this is necessary!
Q: USPS says my package was delivered but I can't find it. What should I do?
A: If this happens, check with your neighbors or in all potential delivery locations at your address. In rare cases, the package will be delivered in an additional 24 hours. If not, you are able to fill out a lost mail form on the USPS website. Once your package is shipped from our studio, it is out of our hands.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We accept exchanges for other items/credit only. If you are dissatisfied with your sweatshirt or tee, or need a different size - please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and details. Products must be exchanged within 30 days of purchase and the product must be unworn with the tags still attached. Customer must pay for exchange shipping. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for journals, pencils, scrunchies, jewelry, pillowcases, or socks.
Q: An item I ordered didn’t come in my package. What should I do?
A: We do our best to pack all of our Shop Darling packages correctly. However, from time to time, we may miss packing an item. Should this happen, please contact email@example.com as soon as possible, and we’ll get the missing item out to you as soon as we can at our cost.
Q: My package/item arrived damaged. What do I do?
A: Though this is rare, if one of our items happens to arrive damaged due to shipping or other reasons, please contact us immediately at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please simply send your order number, proof of purchase, and photo of the damage and we’ll make it right!
Q: My pullover has variations in color or small raised threads. Is this normal?
A: Due to the dyeing process used for the pullovers, differences in shading and color may occur due to its unique properties. Garments will gently fade over time for an enhanced vintage and relaxed look. Also, due to the nature of the fabric, some small raised threads or knots may be visible.
Q: What does "final sale" mean?
A: Any items marked "final sale" cannot be returned or exchanged. These items are marked down, low in stock, and will go fast-- it's the perfect time to complete your wish list!
